Canvas Presets in Teedex allow you to configure your design canvas according to your factory’s production requirements. Instead of setting up canvas dimensions, center markings, size labels, and other production elements for every project, you can use an existing preset or create your own custom preset and reuse it whenever needed.
Teedex provides three default presets: Default, Pharma, and Wrangler Pharma. You can also create custom presets to match your specific production workflow.
1. Access Canvas Presets
To access Canvas Presets, open the Teedex Home page and navigate to Canvas Presets.
Here, you can explore the available presets and configure your canvas according to your requirements.
Choose an existing preset to get started or create a custom preset for your factory’s production setup.
2. Understand the Default Presets
Teedex provides three default Canvas Presets.
Default Preset
The Default preset provides a standard canvas setup with center markings and a size label positioned at the bottom. It is suitable for workflows that use the standard canvas configuration.
Pharma Preset
The Pharma preset includes a Pharma window shape as a design element. You can use this preset when your production workflow requires the corresponding setup.
Wrangler Pharma Preset
The Wrangler Pharma preset provides a similar setup for Full Sleeve designs, including the Wrangler Pharma element.
Choose the preset that matches your production requirements before starting your design.
3. Create a Custom Canvas Preset
If the default presets don’t match your factory’s requirements, you can create your own preset with a custom name and canvas configuration.
Depending on your needs, you can configure your canvas dimensions, reposition the size label, and add your factory name or other production-specific media and elements to the Master Canvas.
This allows you to prepare a canvas that matches your preferred production layout rather than adjusting everything manually for every new project.
4. Configure Production Elements
When creating your custom preset, arrange the elements according to your production requirements.
You can:
Configure custom canvas sizes.
Reposition the size label.
Add your factory name.
Include production-specific images or design elements.
Arrange center markings and other canvas elements as required.
Review the canvas layout before applying the preset to ensure that the elements are positioned correctly.
5. Apply and Save Your Preset
Once your custom canvas setup is ready, click Apply to All to apply the design setup across the available size artboards.
Your preset will then be available in the presets list for reuse. This helps you maintain a consistent production setup across future projects without rebuilding the same canvas configuration from scratch.
6. Use Canvas Presets with Ready Designs
Canvas Presets also work with Teedex Ready Designs.
When you select a Ready Design and use it as a starting point for your project, the design adapts to your selected Canvas Preset. This helps you use ready-made templates within your existing production setup.
