Custom Production Presets in Teedex allow you to configure your canvas according to your factory’s specific production requirements. You can create a preset with your own name, custom canvas dimensions, size label placement, and production-specific elements, then reuse it across future projects.
Instead of setting up the same production layout every time, you can save your preferred configuration and make it part of your regular jersey design workflow.
1. Create a Custom Preset
Open the Teedex Home page and navigate to Canvas Presets. From there, create a new preset and give it a name that identifies your production setup.
For example, you can name a preset after your factory, a particular customer, or a specific production workflow. This makes it easier to identify and reuse the correct configuration later.
2. Configure Your Canvas
Set up the canvas according to your production requirements. You can customize the canvas dimensions and arrange the elements needed for your workflow.
Depending on your setup, you can:
Define custom canvas sizes.
Reposition the size label.
Add your factory name.
Include production-specific images or design elements.
Arrange center markings and other elements according to your requirements.
These options help you prepare a canvas that matches your existing production process.
3. Add Production-Specific Elements
You can add elements that your factory requires for preparing jersey artwork. For example, you might include your factory name, specific markings, or other production-related graphics.
Position these elements on the Master Canvas according to your preferred layout. Review the placement carefully to ensure that they don’t interfere with the jersey artwork.
4. Apply the Setup Across Sizes
Once your canvas configuration is ready, click Apply to All to apply the design setup across the available size artboards.
Review the resulting layouts and make any necessary adjustments to ensure that the canvas and production elements meet your requirements.
5. Save and Reuse Your Preset
After configuring your preset, it will be available in the presets list for future use.
When starting another project, select your saved preset to reuse the same production setup instead of configuring the canvas from scratch.
This is particularly useful for manufacturers who regularly work with specific canvas dimensions, size labels, or factory-specific elements.
6. Use Custom Presets with Ready Designs
Teedex Ready Designs can adapt to your selected Canvas Preset, helping you use ready-made jersey templates within your production workflow.
Select a Ready Design, use it as a starting point, and customize the artwork according to your requirements. The selected preset helps align the design with your configured canvas setup.
