Teedex allows you to add dynamic Player Name and Player Number fields to your jersey design. These fields are automatically updated with each player’s information during the variation process, so you don’t need to manually edit the name and number for every jersey.

1. Add Player Name and Number
Open your project in the Design tab and select the jersey part you want to customize, such as Back or Front.
Click Text in the left-side menu and add one Player Name field and one Player Number field to your canvas. Position them according to your jersey design.
Important: Keep the original dynamic text elements. Do not duplicate them to create additional player fields, as Teedex updates these elements using the player information provided in the Variation tab.
2. Customize Your Typography
Once you’ve added the Player Name and Player Number fields, you can customize their appearance to match your jersey design.
Available customization options include:
Font Style: Choose a font that matches your design.
Text Color: Apply a solid color or pick a color directly from the artboard.
Gradient: Apply gradient colors to your text.
Font Preview: Hover over available fonts to preview their appearance on the canvas.
Preview Size: Adjust the font preview size to make browsing easier.
Custom Fonts: Use system fonts or upload your own font.
These options help you create player names and numbers that complement your jersey artwork.
3. Position the Text on Your Jersey
Place the Player Name and Player Number fields where you want them to appear on the jersey.
Adjust their size, alignment, and position according to your design requirements. Make sure both fields are clearly visible and positioned appropriately within the artwork.
You can further refine their appearance using the available text customization options.
4. Keep Player Information Dynamic
After setting up the Player Name and Player Number fields, keep them as dynamic text elements in your design.
When you move to the Variation tab, you can add player details manually, import them from Excel, or upload a handwritten receipt or order sheet for data extraction.
Teedex uses the provided player information to update the dynamic fields and generate personalized jersey variations automatically.
For example, if your order contains 20 players, Teedex can use their respective names and numbers to generate the corresponding jersey variations without requiring you to edit each design individually.
5. Apply Your Design Across Sizes
Once your typography and text positioning are finalized, click Apply to All to apply your design across the available jersey sizes.
Review the resulting designs and make any necessary adjustments before moving to the Variation tab.
Tips for Best Results
Use dynamic Player Name and Player Number fields instead of including player information directly in the background artwork.
Choose readable fonts for player names and numbers.
Check the positioning and size of both fields before applying the design across sizes.
Keep the original dynamic text elements so Teedex can update them during variation generation.
