Teedex provides a range of text customization options to help you style player names, numbers, and other text elements according to your jersey design. You can adjust typography, apply visual effects, change text dimensions, and control how text blends with the artwork.
To get started, open your project in the Design tab, select a text element on the canvas, and use the available options in the top toolbar.

1. Customize Fonts and Colors
Choose a font that matches your jersey design and adjust the text color to complement your artwork. You can select a solid color, pick a color directly from the artboard, or apply a gradient to create a more distinctive look.
You can also browse available fonts with a live preview before selecting one. If you need a specific typeface, Teedex allows you to use system fonts or upload your own font.
2. Apply Text Effects
Teedex offers several effects to help you customize the appearance of your text.
Blur: Apply a blur effect to text.
Curved Text: Arrange text along a curved path.
Text Stroke: Add an outline around your text.
Background: Add a background to the text.
Shadow: Add a shadow effect to create visual depth.
All Caps: Switch text between uppercase and its original letter case.
Experiment with these options to find a style that works well with your jersey artwork.
3. Use Auto Fit
Auto Fit automatically adjusts text proportionally as the number of characters increases or decreases. This is particularly useful for dynamic Player Name fields, where different players may have names of different lengths.
For example, a short player name and a longer player name can be adjusted to fit the intended text area more consistently.
4. Convert Text to SVG
SVG Text converts text into a vector-based format, giving you more flexibility when adjusting its proportions.
After converting the text, you can stretch or squeeze it according to your design requirements. This is useful when you need more control over the appearance of names, numbers, or decorative typography.
Important: If you need Teedex to replace text automatically with each player’s details during variation generation, keep the original dynamic Player Name and Player Number fields. Use SVG Text carefully when working with these fields.
5. Adjust Text Dimensions and Transparency
You can fine-tune your selected text using additional toolbar options.
Width & Height: Adjust the dimensions of the text element.
Transparency: Control how visible the text appears.
Blending Modes: Change how the text blends with the underlying artwork.
These options help you fit text into your jersey layout and create different visual effects.
6. Apply Your Text Styling Across Sizes
Once you’ve finalized the text style and position on your Master Canvas, click Apply to All to apply your design across the available jersey sizes.
Review the text placement on the resulting artboards and make any necessary adjustments before moving to the Variation tab.
