The Master Canvas is the main workspace where you create your primary jersey design in Teedex. Instead of designing each jersey size separately, you can create your artwork once on the Master Canvas and use Apply to All to apply it across the available size artboards.
This feature helps reduce repetitive design work and makes it easier to prepare jersey artwork for different sizes.

1. What Is the Master Canvas?
When you open the Design workspace, you’ll find the Master Canvas along with the available jersey size artboards at the bottom.
The Master Canvas is where you create and customize your main artwork. You can upload jersey designs, add logos, insert text, and adjust design elements according to your requirements.
Once your primary design is ready, you can apply it across the available sizes instead of repeating the same steps for every artboard.
2. Design on the Master Canvas
Start by selecting the Master Canvas at the bottom of the Design workspace.
You can then use the available design tools to:
Upload your jersey artwork and logos.
Add and customize text.
Insert graphic elements and assets.
Adjust the size and position of design elements.
Customize colors, typography, and other visual properties.
Make sure your artwork is positioned correctly before applying it to the other sizes.
3. Apply Your Design Across Sizes
Once your design is ready, click Apply to All.
Teedex applies the completed design across the available jersey size artboards, helping you avoid recreating the same artwork for every size.
After applying the design, review the individual size artboards and make any necessary adjustments to ensure the artwork fits your production requirements.
4. Work with Different Jersey Sizes
The Master Canvas workflow helps you manage designs across multiple available sizes, including sizes up to 6XL when supported by your selected setup.
You can select individual size artboards from the bottom panel to review how the design appears on each size.
This gives you an opportunity to check the artwork and make adjustments before generating personalized jersey variations.
5. Best Practices for Using the Master Canvas
Complete your main design first: Finalize the artwork, logos, and text positioning before applying it across sizes.
Keep player details dynamic: Use the dedicated Player Name and Player Number text elements instead of adding these details directly to the background artwork.
Use Apply to All: Apply your completed design to the available sizes to reduce repetitive work.
Review each size: Check the resulting artwork and make adjustments wherever required.
Continue to Variation: Once your design is ready, move to the Variation tab to add player details and generate personalized jerseys.
Important: Apply to All helps automate the design application process, but you should still review the resulting artwork across sizes to confirm that everything fits your production requirements.
